After about two months, I have finally found my way back to my easel! Taking care of my new gallery among other things really is time consuming - leaving me too tired to paint in the evening. I started this one a while back but never found the time to finish it. It felt so good to fit it into a frame. This scene is typical north Alabama. As the city of Huntsville grows though, these farms are disappearing and turning into subdivisions. The first thing they do is plow down the trees!

I love your work! It's now about 2:40am and maybe I should get to bed and get some sleep but it's hard to drag myself away from all this beautiful art...thanks for making it available for me to look at and admire online....I would love to buy several pieces but I am just a struggling artist myself looking to be inspired so that I can get back to making my art...and you have inspired me tremendously...so thanks again!
