I spent the past 3 days painting outside with friends to help raise funds for the Land Trust of Alabama. The land trust buys land to preserve as green space for the public. So far they have over 4000 acres in our county. My friends and I painted different parts of the land trust and the paintings will be sold in a silent auction next week. Fall is definitely here - brisk chill, but glorious sun and clear blue skies. It was fun painting with my friends as I spend so much time alone in my studio.
